A Happy Thanksgiving!

As in wishing you one and it was one. We had a wonderful dinner made by Elaine (Kathleen’s mum) on Sunday and spent today driving around enjoying the fall colors, mostly along the Grand river. Pics at http://goo.gl/zKeW0. Had a spot of lunch at the City Cafe on victoria with some wood oven made pizza. Delicious. We also stopped in to see our friend Jan, who is helping take care of her Aunt.

Some of the symptoms started to kick in from the Nulasta. A bit of ache in her bones, but pretty mild so far. Really, in the context of everything, its pretty easy so far. But even better, is for the first time in months, she was able to start the day without gravol– two days in a row now. I think the last time was 2 days before her radiation started way back in the summer. We are both excited (guardedly) by this….

this is awesome news! here’s to 2 days with no gravol! yeah, the neulasta pains were probably a drop in the bucket compared to what she has been going through recently. Happy Thanksgiving and looking forward to seeing you both you.

Key is taking pleasure in the small things – like the electric colours of the leaves this year, the glorious blue sky in the background of the photo, close friends, a taste of pizza, and a morning without gravol!!! Have you considered buying stock?

Dear Mike and Kathleen: What a terrific Thanksgiving weekend! It’s such a wonderful time of year. Oh, to have but one City Cafe in London! Continue to enjoy the wonders of autumn and thanks for visiting Aunt Pat. Your visits and support mean a great deal to her and our family.

    Love John

    Dear Kathleen and Mike,

I was thinking of you both this past weekend and am so very happy to read about your wonderful day enjoying the company of loved ones, the beauty of nature, a wonderful home-cooked meal and the two of you taking in all the beauty and love that surrounds you. I love this picture of Jan and Kathleen and can picture that nice spot in my mind. I am sorry that Larry and I missed seeing the two of you. We left for Ottawa about noon-1 p.m. ish on Monday and are so happy for our time in Cambridge with our family. This photo tells a lovely story. It really makes me smile (and of course get a little misty-eyed … with happy tears). (Those darned autumn allergies.) ; – )

Lots of love and big hugs.

Glad to hear the side effects are fading, and you all enjoyed a bountiful Thanksgiving! ( and it would be great to try that Cafe with you guys!) It sounds like a good spot! Your pictures speak volumes Kathleen, it’s so nice to see you all out enjoying nature and the beautiful colours. Inspiring as always! Love, Colleen and Terry

Glad you guys had a great Thanksgiving, even with the questionable bird. Your Mom is a genius and very creative in order to make things work. I also agree you looked a little sassy. You could even say modelesc. Would that be the word. Love ya all.
