I am back home from the hospital now without Kath. A long, long day for Kathleen. She had yet another CT of the specific location with the new pain. Not sure when we will get results on that. I suppose tomorrow. Yes, nervous about that. Kath is pretty well sleeping 90% of the time. It hard to see her like that. So shutdown physically. Because she has an infection, she is at least in a room by herself.

thanks so much for keeping us in the loop Mike. Sleep as much as you can because you are Kathleen’s rock and you can best support her if you stay strong. Our fingers are crossed right along with yours. keeping you both in our prayers. Hope to hear that it’s nothing major and that she gets out of there soon. Yes, Isobel and I will send something via email = something Christmassy… she too was in the hospital today at Sick Kids for a lung x-ray, deep lung infection she has and when I talked to her about you being in the hospital she could really relate and wanted to send you a big hug. sorry to not be present on the blog…we are thinking about you and send big hugs. You are strong, you are amazing, you are wonderful light.

Dear Kathleen and Mike,
I am so sorry to hear what you are dealing with at this moment. There are times in life when it is hard to find the right words to say and to find some way of making things better for people I care about. I haven’t found the magic wand or the special secret. It sounds like you are doing all you can do and getting the medical care you need. All I can do from Ottawa is to let you know that you are both in my daily thoughts and well wishes and I continue to send you an abundance of positive energy, I hope you are able to take all the time you can to have some restorative rest.
