Better

Finally, she is awake! It was hard to see her so out of it for 3 days. Today, was a better day for sure energy wise. We even went for a little walk down the hall. The pain is still there in her gut, but its well managed with meds. Also her blood sugars have gone nuts which is a little disconcerting. Pancreatitis again ? Hopefully tomorrow will show even more improvement. Still on the antibiotics, but no sign of the fever in 24hrs now so it sounds like it was something bacterial. She is definitely better, but I want better still. Hopefully continued progress for her tomorrow.

Thats it for tonight. Bed time

Great news….and relieving….it was very concerning to say the least….see how I am underreacting here….I am a huge worry wart…so I have to practice underreaction or else I lose my head. My gut says…Betty will be happy soon to have her Kathleen home. Yes, Judy, I too liked Kathleens jeans…the last time I seen her she was wearing these jeans and I asked her where she got them & she told me Old Navy and only $20!! There is always an occasion to be fashionable and what a bargain! Happy Sunday to both of you & Judy.

    Dear Kathleen and Mike,

Happy to get up this morning and read some much better news. Thought of you both before putting my head on the pillow last night and then again this morning upon waking. Each tiny bit of better news is great to hear. Continue to take care of yourselves and no doubt you are taking wonderful care of each other. It is a wintery wonderland here in Ottawa. The snow adds a nice brightness to the day. I hope that today is better and brighter for you both. xo

Dear Kath and Mike, so comforting to hear the fever down, and Kath is able to get down some nourishment. Small steps, it seems. Also comforting that Kath is in such a caring environment., where she can evade all these terrible bugs. Always with you all! Hugs Colleen and Terry
